A holiday is just what is required, although, we cancelled our trip up to my old homestead in Assynt in Scotland, due to Audrey being so very poorly. She has improved tum-wise but now has the most awful thing on her legs, which I have a horrible feeling will be what finally weaves its sepsis magic. We take her to the dermatologist tomorrow; her legs are looking more and more swollen and ulcerated. Her immune system is shutting down. It is all such a worry: the upshot of all of this is I have no plan to get old!?!

Just had a funny email from her, which I am just about to post. She is sooo worth the effort and heartache.

LXLetticehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06251998081386015052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5633852516929929500.post-1395738782978980182018-08-27T07:51:05.281+01:002018-08-27T07:51:05.281+01:00Wise, wise words... love it! Thank you so much. ...Wise, wise words... love it! Thank you so much. A ‘bit unsettled’ is the understatement. For a glass half full sort of a lass I have had an interesting time not feeling my usual rumbustious self. My fear is if I feed this unsettleness where will it all end? Added to which the Audrey situation puts a brake on us going anytime soon, no bad thing, my sensible head says! Thank you for taking the time out for adding your thoughts to my blog, I can’t tell you how all of the supportive comments have helped me.

LXLetticehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06251998081386015052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5633852516929929500.post-51229836383330523392018-08-27T07:39:26.576+01:002018-08-27T07:39:26.576+01:00The location is lovely, writing this I am sitting ...The location is lovely, writing this I am sitting up in bed with a cup of tea, looking out on a flat calm sea... what is there not to like?

A. is a sort of relative, I adopted her as my mum. When things settle down, how about a holiday for a week or two, then see how you feel about a move when you return?..says the woman who really is shouting "Go for it. It sounds wonderfully exciting and how can you hesitate when there is a walled garden?" I wish I could be more helpful!

Good to have you back.Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461759848289268517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5633852516929929500.post-67661441742201041402018-08-26T14:13:47.925+01:002018-08-26T14:13:47.925+01:00If I have learned nothing else its that life is to...If I have learned nothing else its that life is too short to mess about. If you're not happy where you are you should move. Perhaps the house you've seen will be the one that helps you get over your previous cottage? Not to mention now that you've done it all up it will be so much easier to sell the one you're in! I think the fact you keep looking at houses tells you everything it needs to. Being by the sea is wonderful but from what I gather you'd still be in walking distance if you moved to the quirky one? Anyway, its really none of my business but happiness and contentment are paramount in this life and your home should be where both are in spades and I feel from things you've said on here, you're a bit unsettled there. Good luck with decisions to be made!! Sorry to hear of Audrey. It's difficult and not going to get much easier I guess. Glad to see you back here again. I missed your lovely posts. xx Marksgranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02870471905590321642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5633852516929929500.post-23648347027003336422018-08-26T13:23:06.160+01:002018-08-26T13:23:06.160+01:00Seems life by the sea, is perfect, at the moment. ...Seems life by the sea, is perfect, at the moment.
