Oh dear...

this arrived in yesterday’s post.

One hundred pounds and Scottish to boot!

The work really starts now.  I worry that on arrival in the coming week that the space age-looking contraption will be destined for the back of the cupboard.
My job now is to simplify the whole process and talk them in pictures how to operate the flaming thing.
Some might wonder how the lass gets herself into these
predicaments?  I often ask myself the same question?

  1. Could you send me pictures too please!! Actually I would need a video. I'm very much a visual learner, reading instructions is like gobbledegook to me but show me how to do something and I'm on it! Good luck, I hope you manage to keep the machine out of the cupboard! x

    1. The pictures have been taken this evening. Each stage was photographed. I will write the method down to accompany each photo. It’s amazing how much you take emails and the like for granted. Whether they actually get to use the thing is another matter I do hope so! I shall be sending more food parcels up with Waitrose quick Minestrone soup mix and stock cubes. This sort of thing is just up my street, and I ought to say yesterday when the letter arrived I was truly happy and upbeat. I just love this sort of challenge. Wish they weren’t so far away otherwise I would be there doing a cookery demonstration. I’ve done enough of those in my time!

    1. What a can of worms I have just opened. The main thing is the cooker I have ordered for them is far more sophisticated than the one I have. These guys have only just got a handle of electricity... Watch this space is most definitely the order of the day.

A year has gone by...

and the sourdough saga continues, nothing much changes, apart maybe my level of frustration at my tarnished bread making skills of a ferment...
