No matter how hard I try...

I just can’t get to fifty!

Wot?  Is that a problem?

No, no, not age but followers!

If only?

It really makes me smile that I did for a nano second get to the mythical number of 50, then back to 49, now 48.

Was it something I said?

Yes, it probably was.

Interesting.  More interesting me taking any notice and pretending not to care!?!

Is this how shallow I have become I idly wonder?  I do hope not!

Now you see them, now you don’t!

    1. Good to know, thank you.

See above... I am planning to enjoy blogging and reply to people that take time out to comment and in essence that is what I will do. I’m hanging loose!?!

  6. Having followers and comments is a give and take thing. You have to regularly comment and follow other blogs in order to receive comments and followers back and build relationships. As far as I can see with your blog you have one relationship with one person only. Blogs take work to be successful.

    1. Rachel, you do make me laugh, no idea why you just do. I love blogging, so I will carry on in my own sweet way... I am doing it for me as I suppose you are doing it for you, it gives us a degree of enjoyment so let’s crack on.

    2. Reading this through this morning I think you may have misunderstood me as I didn't make it very clear! What I meant was that you always get a comment from Marksgran almost without fail and you clearly have a good relationship with her! I am glad you are able to laugh at my comments. I reiterate what I said about blog relationships though. I am not sure whether you want this or not, perhaps not, you are just paddling your own canoe.

    3. In my defence I do comment on other people’s blogs, only when I feel able to add something though. As you say it is the correct way to a healthy blogging life. Mind you, being a simple soul your blog on occasions get’s me baffled, being as you come across as a blooming brain box. Which I admire as scratching my head I soldier on sometimes not understanding a ruddy word? I do love it when you tell us what you had for your tea though, that shows you what a gormless clot I am. Oh and I also love that you often put the why’s and the wherefores of the aforesaid tea. It tickles me pink.

  7. I read every post and comment quite regularly, so I think I would be classed as a Follower-though-not-officially! I wouldn't mind betting that the number of your followers would increase if you added a 'FOLLOW' button to your blog! Please?

  8. Put the followers gadget on your blog. I think you had it, once. That's probably how you got me, and I remember there being half a dozen or fewer of us then. Not Official Followers don't count.

  10. Life is too short to worry about followers, comments and the like. I just have to remind myself I’m doing it for me... I love it, it gives me so much joy... enough said!
That's what you wrote on your profile!
Be assured we don't care how many followers you have, we love your blog and that's that!!

    1. Oooh errr! I didn’t twig that you did a blog Moni, how stupid is that? Sorry! And the pithy comment reminding me of what I have written in my profile is a timely reminder for me, the flaming Madam of Ludlow.
