The remote controls in the microwave, she thought she was preparing her breakfast. The doctor is coming to see her on Monday, fingers crossed nothing happens in the meantime?
Oh dear. Things are looking bad if that's what's happening. However, many old people can get extremely confused when they simply don't keep themselves hydrated. I wonder if anyone has been able to ensure that she is drinking sufficient water, tea, squash, etc? As you say, it's difficult to be of much help at a distance and relying on phone calls is not much use when the person needs constant reminding. It does look as though she needs full time care now, whether in hospital or residential care home. Have an 'ug, Lettice.
Maybe the time has come for her to have 24 hour supervision. Difficult times ahead for you!

Thank you Rambler, a hug is worth a thousand words. The currency of hugging is very infra dig these days. Us huggers will return, have no fear.

I'm sorry, Lettice. I hope things can improve a bit.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think Audrey’s time has come. So sad to hear of her decline.
