Allotment update...

There’s something about tilling the soil that moves me, calms me, consoles me.  Being outside I feel free, even the weather on Sunday doesn’t dent the desire.

Hail falling like snow, mid- May for goodness sake.

This is the allotment today, a hodge-podge of treasures and my wild imaginings.

just wish everything would grow now... it is so blooming COLD!

  1. You have made wonderful progress getting the allotment "under control". Damn the hail, full speed on.

  3. I'm glad you're enjoying the allotment. Gardening is very grounding isn't it! You've made great progress so as you say, now all we need is some decent weather. It's heated up here a bit but with lots of showers. Good for the soil, not so much for me! x

    1. So many plans, so many plants, so little growing weather, just wet and cold. My up has never been more fed!

A year has gone by...

and the sourdough saga continues, nothing much changes, apart maybe my level of frustration at my tarnished bread making skills of a ferment...
