You know when...

you see something and you just know you have to have it?
That happened to me today...
this?

As you can see the marble top
doesn’t really go, it has been cut to fit, for what purpose?

And then there is the hole underneath.

‘Fab’or ‘Far’ on each end.

French undoubtedly but for what?

A very peculiar thing and even more strange my desire to own it

‘Any ideas?

    2. It weighs a ton, trouble is it is so low (60 cm), added to which the choccie would flow down the hole, as it were!

Why do I love such odd things? Why can’t I enjoy dfs and the like, instead of conversation pieces that let’s face it, aren’t even things of beauty and a joy for ever type of thing?

    1. Could well be Frances, it sure as hell beats resting my feet on a hippo bag and quaffing the odd glass of fizz as I watch the world go by. Today, there was a middle aged couple sat with dog on a bench, while mum and dad stood to eat their fish and chips off the wall. Why didn’t they at the very least make the dog sit on the prom while their parents took it in turns to sit and have their tea? Funny folk these humans... mind you they probably thought look at that daft tart sat with her feet in a bag of rubble while filling her face with booze and Lentil Waves... I know we’re at the sea, but still... it’s a tad odd if you ask me?

A year has gone by...

and the sourdough saga continues, nothing much changes, apart maybe my level of frustration at my tarnished bread making skills of a ferment...
