Eleven years ago...

today we were married...
on the London Eye.
Tonight we celebrate with a couple of flutes and leftover shepherds pie... we know how to live!

A lot has changed in the intervening years!  Not least we have a new member of the family...
Ellie

  1. Happy Anniversary to you both. I have been married 45 years ..and I didn't get a sapphire in October . I bought him some Sapphire gin, most of which I drank!
Is Ellie getting used to the OH yet? She seems to be looking at him.

    1. Yes, she is in fact they are out while I sit home sewing my Christmas cards.
I know I’ve said it before, but she is such a sweet dog, a joy to have around and a total nightmare at the same time with her worries.

    1. Thank you my blogging hero. I am sure our paths have crossed many times in York. At the nightclub in Gillygate and at the Hole in the Wall. Funny old life.

  3. Congratulations and wishing you many more years to enjoy each other, leftovers, wine and Ellie - not necessarily in that order! xx

    1. He’s a good’un! I’ve saved the best until last! Ellie is getting so much better as well, which I ought to say has been a strain especially as Wonder Woman having had two collies before thought it would be a breeze! The mistress of understatement.

    1. We’re content, that’s the main thing. Lovely Ellie is so worth the work we are having to put in.

A year has gone by...

and the sourdough saga continues, nothing much changes, apart maybe my level of frustration at my tarnished bread making skills of a ferment...
