Normal service will...

be resumed as soon as possible.

Today I am poorly, just a stinking cold.

I leave you with the base for the greenhouse which is now coming on Tuesday!?!

And the harvested grass...

    1. We are both suffering, slightly. Fingers crossed just a cold?

The self isolation is fine for me, in a funny way it plays to my inner recluse.

    1. If we don’t have another postponement? It isn’t the end of the world if we do, this blooming thing has put so much into perspective.

  3. I wonder how the workmen will fasten the greenhouse to the ground? Will you tell us what you going to grow in it? Hopefully by Tuesday you will be feeling much better! I wish you speedy recovery!

    1. The instruction was to have a level base, which himself being the man he is has made sure it is! If it was left tome it would be... ‘That looks about right!’ as I close one eye and peer!?! Husband needless to say drives me up the wall with his following instructions to the letter. Me, well I just journey through life on a wing and a prayer... in fact winging it has always been my MO... worrying, I know!

Thanks for the good wishes, I am full of cold but feeling well enough to be my usual cheeky self with the old man. When I’m too weak to joke or worse still, stop eating then I know I am very unwell, until then, crack on!

  4. Hope you will feel better soon. I had an evil head cold ( first cold in several years) 3 weeks ago, but I am still blowing my shnozzle and coughing. Hope that you throw it off a bit quicker!!

  5. Yes, just a head cold, which in this lovely blowy but bright weather I am seeing it off by pottering in the garden in readiness for Tuesday! Can’t wait!
