The key is in my...

podgy mitt.  I can hardly believe it.  The afternoon has been spent pottering, a little light digging, the hours just flew.  It was touch and go, first it was on then it was off, then it happened, I can hardly believe it...

    1. All terribly exciting. The committee have decided now is the time for the old leaning apple tree on the corner of my patch to come down. It has a hollow trunk and although still producing tart apples, it for safety sake has to go... I will now have a section right beside the shed for herbs.

Just remember to use a foam pad when keeling, your knees will thank you for it.

    1. Will do Moni, getting down is okay, getting up isn’t so easy or nearly as elegant!?! Mind you even on a good day with a following wind elegance could never be laid at my door.

    1. Err.. yes, after major clearing and planning. No dig is going to be my way forward, it seems to make so much sense.

A year has gone by...

and the sourdough saga continues, nothing much changes, apart maybe my level of frustration at my tarnished bread making skills of a ferment...
